FAQs

What pace groups do you have? Do I have to be able to run a certain pace to join?

At EPRC our mission is to make running accessible, welcoming, and fun for runners of all backgrounds, experience levels, and abilities. To foster a supportive environment, rather than organizing around pace groups, our runs are supported by at least two run guides, one route leader and one guide at the back of the group. This ensures everyone can follow the route and no one gets left behind. Our run guides will adjust the best they can to keep ahead of the pack and to ensure no one is running alone behind the group. When we say every pace is welcome, we don’t just talk the talk, we walk (and run) the walk!

what does it cost to join? how do i become a member?

Participation in all EPRC runs is completely free! We do not have a membership fee and all you need to do to be a member is come out and run with us. We do ask that you please complete our Waiver and Code of Conduct before attending a run. Note that by attending a run with EPRC, you are agreeing to abide by our Waiver and Code of Conduct.

where are you located?

Our runs meet and return to three locations in the Capitol Hill area:
Sundays we meet at Big League Performance & Rehab [637 Pennsylvania SE]
Wednesdays we meet at Tap99 in Navy Yard [1250 Half Street SE]
The first Wednesday of every month we meet at lululemon F Street [1090 F Street NW]

is there parking?

Street parking is available in the areas surrounding all three of our run locations. Please check parking signs and parking meters for hours. All of our runs are also Metro accessible!

can i bring a bag? Are there bathrooms available?

Each of our run locations has a place to store belongings during the runs, and Big League Performance & Rehab and Tap99 have bathrooms available for use. EPRC is not responsible for items stored during runs, so please be mindful of any valuables.
