Volunteer with EPRC

Support your fellow EPRC runners and the greater DC running community! Our volunteers help guide runs, plan events, capture runner content, and show up BIG to cheer at races.

Races & Programming

Are you a Strava connoisseur? Enjoy planning new and interesting routes to run? Volunteer with our Races & Programming Committee! The Races & Programming Committee is responsible for planning routes and training programs, and ensures runs are supported with Run Guides. Contact Captains Josh Banks and Melissa Brashear to get involved!

Run guides

All EPRC runs are supported by at least two Run Guides, one leading the route and one sweeping the back of the group. Our goal is to do our very best to make sure no one is left behind or running alone. If you’d like to volunteer as a Run Guide, contact Captain Melissa Brashear.

EVENTS

Are you a planner? Have ideas for fun activities? Our Events Committee organizes post-run brunches, special events, cheer stations, and more! There is always something new and fun happening at the club, so volunteering with the Events Committee is a great way to help ensure the whole running community has a great experience! Contact Captains Jared McGrath and Amanda Henderson to get involved.

Membership

Our Membership Committee volunteers are the first to welcome new runners and make sure everyone who joins us for a run feels included. If you’ve got that natural warm energy and welcoming spirit, the Membership Committee is the place for you! Contact Captains DJ Johnson and Abhishek Tayal to learn more and volunteer.

communications

If social media is your thing, the Communications Committee is the place to be! Responsible for the website and Instagram pages, and promoting club events, the Communications Committee makes sure runners are always in the know about what’s happening around EPRC. Contact Captains Sharon Schwei and Tony Kostreski to volunteer.

Not quite sure which committee is right for you? Connect with any of our Team Captains to learn more about our committees and how to volunteer with EPRC!
